Margo is a communication and change specialist who works with leaders to engage their people more effectively. She helps leadership and project teams to define and articulate their vision, strategy and priorities. She is expert in using communication and engagement to deliver business goals and drive change. Margo also coaches senior executives to become more effective leaders by being better communicators.
Margo has been an independent consultant for the past 8 years, working in industries ranging from business consulting and banking to fast-moving consumer goods, pharmaceuticals and on-line businesses. Clients include Unilever’s CFO and Personal Care President, the leadership team of EY’s Advisory business, HSBC, Betfair and Johnson & Johnson.
Before becoming an independent consultant, Margo spent 5 years within Unilever, initially as VP Communication for Unilever Foods and then as Communications Advisor to the former CEO, Patrick Cescau. She also worked as a change and communication consultant with Towers Watson, specialising in the change and communication aspects of mergers and acquisitions. Her corporate career began in communications for WH Smith. Margo spent the earlier part of her career as an advertising copywriter and senior creative and still knows where to put the apostrophe. She has a BA Hons degree in History from King’s College, London and a diploma in International Relations from the London School of Economics.
